15th Annual
Environmental Management and
Chemical Spill Response Training Seminar
August 2nd –
August 6th, 2009
Westin Key West
Resort & Marina
You’re invited to join us in the Florida Keys.......for
the most popular training
event of its kind in the nation. Now in its 15th year!
This invitation is sent only to
persons that have attended our OSHA Level II class or higher. We have 22
remaining seats,
and this mailer is being sent to 2,600 persons. If you desire to attend, please
call immediately!
A phone call holds your seat in this year’s class.
The staff of
Crop Production Services is putting on their largest training event of the
year.
The course includes four days of intensive training preparing you to deal with
all aspects of a
chemical emergency at your location. From developing an emergency response
plan, choosing the
equipment you need (and avoiding equipment you don’t need), and developing a
spill response team. We’ll
also teach you how to deal with the media (a real concern anytime there is an
emergency at your location).
You’ll also get hands-on experience using start-of-the-art equipment including
self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
During the
environmental management portion of the course, you’ll learn the latest
regulations from
the Florida Department of Environmental Protection concerning chemical handling
and storage. We’ll also
review “environmental hot spots” that draw attention from government
inspectors. More importantly, we’ll show you
what an environmental auditor from a lending institution will be looking for
should you ever decide to sell your property.
Upon completion of the course, you’ll be nationally certified as an
Incident Commander, OSHA Level V. It’s the
highest level for emergency responders designated by the U.S. Department of
Labor. We’ll issue you a photo ID that
serves as proof of your qualifications to direct clean-up activities should you
have a chemical release.
Registration
for the course is $795 for first time students, refresher students are only
$395. This
fee includes
all course materials, lunch and refreshments daily during the course. This
course is an incredible bargain,
and sells out each and every year. If you want to attend, don’t delay! All it
takes is a phone call to secure
your place in this year’s class. And remember, after this year, you’ll be able
to attend all future years at the
annual refresher rate. Class size is limited, and fills quickly each year.
