Dear North Florida Class A, SM, and Commercial members,

The North Florida Golf Course Superintendent’s Association is an affiliated chapter of the
Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association. When you pay your annual dues to the
NFGCSA, we forward a portion of the amount to the FGCSA. This sum affords you the
benefits of membership in the FGCSA.

This letter is to inform you that the FGCSA Board of Directors approved a dues increase to
go into effect July 1, 2008 (beginning of fiscal year 2008 for the FGCSA and the NFGCSA).
This is the first increase in 15 years for the FGCSA.  Therefore, if you are a NFGCSA Class A or
Superintendent Member, your upcoming dues for 2008 renewal will be $125 with $80 going to the FGCSA.
Class C dues are currently$75 with $70 going to the FGCSA. Class C dues will increase by $10
in 2008 and 2009 as well. The FGCSA Finance and Long Range Planning Committee proposed
to the Board of Directors a $10 per year dues increase for the next two years. Matt Taylor,
FGCSA President, added that the review highlighted the fact that the cost of doing
business, providing administrative support to all Florida chapters, communications
and government advocacy, allied association networking and support, media and
public relations and staff salaries have all risen in the last 15 years making the increase necessary.

Class A and Superintendent Members of the NFGCSA will pay $125 in 2008 and $135 in 2009.
Class C dues are $85 in 2008 and $95 in 2009. If you are a commercial member of the
NFGCSA the upcoming dues will increase in relation to the dues of the superintendent member.
Commercial dues for 2008 will be $125 and for 2009 $135.
