The USGA Green Section in Florida is hosting a Live Meeting on Thursday, May 14^th at 10:00 am EDT to discuss strategies for controlling Poa annua. 

Poa annua is a reoccurring problem on Florida golf courses, and a popular discussion at many of our TAS visits this year.  Dr. Bert McCarty from Clemson University studies this issue every year through a series of golf course trials, and he will give us a summary of control strategies, as well as some newer chemistries becoming available.

Please take the time now to follow the instructions below to ensure you will be able to join us for this on line meeting next week.  If you have technical issues connecting to Live Meeting, please contact us immediately so that we will have time to help you prior to the meeting next Wednesday.

We are using Microsoft’s Live Meeting web-conferencing software for this meeting. Both video and audio will come to your via your computer. To attend this meeting you will need to install the Microsoft Office 2007 Live Meeting client on your computer. The easiest way to do this is to click the “check your system” link below.
